Default LED light bar on Street Glide

So I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to mount the LED light bar on the triple tree of my street glide with out hit it hitting the front fender. Reason? Because I installed one and went for a ride and hit a small bump and now I have a huge dent in my front fender from the light bar! Any suggestions please let me know.

I've seen them on the engine guard, one on each side.

ouch...on a pothole, it's possible to dimple the fender on the triple tree too- esp if lowered.

you need all the clearance there you can get.

That would be the safest way.

If more usable light is your desire change the entire headlight to LED do not be frugal here and get a known quality product like a JW Speaker or Trucklite

Default I did this

I put the passing lamps on with the Cyrus LED bulbs. Nice and bright and a fraction of the price for LED lamps...They will do for now. I ordered the color matched lower fairings which should be in soon....

Those are pretty nice, but expensive! $200.

What size hole did you drill for the wires to exit? Do they help with night riding?
