Ok not sure where to post this so it is going in the Off Topic and the PGR forum. In the military in Ft Leonard Wood Mo. Just did a military funeral for a recent KIA in St. Louis. We had some PGR members show up and it was awesome...I really appreciate what they do. I went on to call my dad that lives in the area to let him know about the PGR and he told me bout something that happened in St Louis.
A lady from Jefferson Co. Missouri was complaining to the sheriffs dept because when she was on her way home she was stopped by a funeral procession. Anyway "two of these dirty, nasty, renegade, who knows what motorcycle men that were escorting the procession proceeded to stop in front of me in the right lane on Gravois". This is off of I 270 in St lou. She goes on to complain that they should be arrested of fined or something. She tried to drive by the procession and someone got off their bike and chewed her out! Awesome! Wish I was there for that.
Anyway...this letter pissed off alot of people in the St Lou area but the response from the officer is great! I'll post the link so that everyone can read the lady's letter and the response from the Sheriff.
Having the Patriot Guard Riders really help out the family and the soldiers that are in charge of the funeral detail. Thank you all for your help.

The sheriff's response was spot on and hpoefully made this woman feel an inch tall. The woman is one of the many in our current society that have forgotten what is important in our lives.
I have been thinking of joining the PGR for a bout a month. I spoke to my wife about joining just last night. She almost cried when I told her what they do.
That said, I think these guys could have handled the situation a little better just as this loser of a woman could have. This is not a criticsm of them ..... I was not there so I do not know all the facts.
I've just learned that in life a few well placed, calmly delivered, pointed comments can be very effective when dealing with pinheads like this woman.
