Same deal for texas. Take the class, qualify on range and then under go background check...mine took about 5 months

Please be aware too that many states don't honor other states' permits. It's really a mixed bag. Click this link,
then click on your state. It will show you which states will honor yours.

Many people also get out of state licenses from Florida and Utah, which those states allow. Now click on those
states to see how many states honor theirs and you'll see why.

Default Massachusetts

Massachusetts has a unique two part system:

1) You go down to the local police station, and tell them you want a permit to carry a pistol.

2) They grab you, and throw you in jail.

P.S. paint ball guns, BB guns, and cans of pepper spray are considered "firearms" in Massachusetts
