O.K., maybe not...but they make my di...nevermind.
I like the S&W Night Guard series, too. If something happens, I don't want to spend valuable seconds cycling the slide or setting safeties. And I don't want a DAO pistol. I like wheelguns. Point and shoot.

I have a glock 27 .40 cal. Added finger extensions to the clips. I like it and I get tight groups all around the bull. Although, I traded a star firestar .45 to get the glock, the star had tighter groups and tore the bulls eye out most of the time. Dead nuts on. The glock is still pretty lethal. I don't hit as many bulls.
I called 6 shops in lexington finally found a ruger lcp. they said they had a waiting list but 3 guys had declined and I was i the right place at the right time.
Also have a sig 229 elite and a xd-9. Thinking about selling the 9mm if anyones interested.

I Always Carry on My Person, That Way its Always there. Not in the Parking Lot.
Either in a Fanny Pack (I Know, Ugly, and I Collect Crap for it, Plus, Give-Away you Have a Gun) or In an "Inside The Boot" Holster I had Made. That Handgun is either a Smith & Wesson 649 .38 Spl Snub, or an AMT Back-Up .45ACP. Both are the Same size and Fit the Same holster. 5-6 Shot Depending on The Gun. SAFE, and Double Action. First Shot is Easy to Get off, and Compact. But I have a Second Handgun in My Hard Box. Ruger P94 .40Cal 11 Shot...I leave that with an Empty Chamber.
Some Might think TWO is Excessive? (I have Two Pairs of Pliers in my Tool Kits as Well). My Belief on a Protection Handgun while Riding/Traveling, is That it is Either going to go Two ways.... After one or two shots the Police are there, All is Safe, I'm Arrested, But Alive, and Reports taken... OR, It will Be a Long Wait Until Help Arrives and I Want to Take Cover and Wait it Out.... This Advice is From Personal Experience and That of the Several Police Officers and Deputies I ride with.
Just My Opinion and My Choices. God Bless, Ride Safe.
m&p .45 compact feels much better than the glock. also a one piece frame vs glock two piece
Two-piece frame???????
I generally carry either a Kel Tec P3AT or a S&W J frame (60 and/or 637) whilke riding, sometimes a Walther PPK/S. When not riding, I carry a Glock 27, but the oothers are easier to conceal in a vest or jacket while on a bike.
I've been shooting in competition, law enforcement, instructing, military, etc. since the early 80's, even been an FFL gun dealer, and I haven't found anything that can beat a Glock for reliability and shootability.

Glock 19 for everyday, 15+1 with a hollowpoint/ball mix 2-1.
Cz 52 if I am worried about body armor, but its a little heavy for everyday, only 8 rounds per mag.
Both ammos are dirt cheap for practice. $145 for 1000 rounds of 9mm online and $85 for 1440 rounds of 7.62 x 25 mil surplus (1600 fps) ball.
Dis the 9mm if you like but .38 verse .40 is minor verse a good hollowpoint. No hollowpoints for the 7.62, its a drill.
Either way, more practice is better than a hand canon with no practice or too heavy to carry.
