I carry the Springfield XD45 tactical. Its alittle bigger than I wanted to carry, but I carry it in a CCW vest right now. I don't know what I will carry it in when it gets to be 90 out.

I'm a staunch Second Amendment supporter as I know many Harley riders are. My personal preference for normal carry conditions is the Glock 23. It's not too big and it's not too small and it's about as reliable as an AK-47. With a spare mag I have 26 rounds, which should take care of most situations. When not riding I carry it in a kydex holster in the crossdraw position. When riding, I have to carry it in a vest designed for CCW. Not the best option, but it keeps it concealed.
My other carry pistol is the Ruger LCP. Yeah, it's a mouse gun in .380, but in the summer it's better than nothing when The Glock is too difficult to conceal.
I will be carring a XD .40 in a crossbreed. I would check that Ruger LCP, there is a recall notice on them, saw the poster in Bass Proo yesterday and checked it on the website.

I have read that in the days of "the END times".....whenever that is.....ammo
will be in short supply....and expensive. The most wanted and available will be .45 and 9mm. (according to the expert that wrote the article) 38s and .357 are close in there.
Depending on where you live....if walmart is closed...where do you buy?
I have a couple places. But if they are out.....I am out.
Me? I am going with the coomon rounds...... .45, and 9 mm. OK 12 gage for s'gun and .410s for my derringer.
But price be damned when you really need'em. (let the person at the end of the barrel
pay for them.

XD45 and 1911 in a crossbreed, .38 in an ankle rig, G27 in small of back. For winter carry I have a M9 shoulder holster for the 1911 and a Fobus OWB paddle for the 1911.

well I have 800 rounds now of 7.62x25 for one of my pistols. I try to keep on hand at least 3-4 boxes of ammo for the other pistols and about 10 boxes for my 12guage.

As Im a big HK fan. when concelability is the big factor. I like my very reliable P2000sk in .40 SW. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
