Nightcrawler is correct I have flown many times with out a hassle..only thing I do not care for is when they put the "STEAL ME" TAG ON THE LUGGAGE
They aren't supposed to put it on the luggage (supposed to go on the actual container of the gun). Nightcrawler has it down pat though. I've only brought a handgun with me once through the airport, Southwest airlines, Phoenix to Denver. Took maybe 5 minutes more. The only downside is you can't do curbside check in when you have to declare a firearm.
