1964 Honda C200 90CC Ironhead
My latest project. It's a heavily modified 1964 90cc C200 Honda pushrod ironhead. Looks mostly stock but it's not. The back of the stamped frame was cut off and a 68 Honda Super 90 OHC frame tail was welded on. It has wider shock towers to match the later tubular swing arm that was additionally braced if you look closely. This also required a seperate rear fender like the Super 90 had because the 64 90cc had the rear fender as part of the frame. Also gone are the leading link forks replaced by telescopic ones. It has tight bars now and a cafe seat is on the way. The motor is ported and has a very rare web racing cam. She should make 8 roaring hp vs the stock 5.5 hp!!! New spokes rims and tires. I have a super cool 69 Bridgestone 175 twin cafe bike also and a fully restored 1968 Honda Cl125 twin. Pictures in my album. I love all bikes!!!! And airplanes!!!

My first bike was one of these. In 1968 I was in 6th grade and bought one from a friend for $25 that didn't run. It was only 4 years old but had a tight exhaust valve so it had lost compression. I had that fixed in like two minutes and rode the thing past the kid I got it from. He nearly **** himself!!!

Those Hondas & Bridgestones swept through my high school like wild fire.
I wanted one in the worst way, but my parents put me in a $50 Volkswagen convertible instead. I remember when we picked that up, the garage guy said it purred like a kitten & ran like a scared cat. Only the scarred cat part was true.
