Never use lemon pledge on old fine furnature. Real shellac does not like the propellent or the thinner used.
But, on the other question, yes, 20w50 Amsoil is great for chrispy french fries.

Actually tried Pledge on my bike after reading all of the praise you guys have given it here. Personally, I think you all have trank too much of the Kool-Aid. The stuff does create shine and brilliance but does not hide like real wax. For fast cleaning of the bike you are better off using Mothers Quik Detail (or similar).

Depending on the furnitures mileage, I would say you would be ok....don't forget the legs...so many people concentrate on the tops look and forget about suspension.

What did you use the Pledge on specifically?
Mothers Quik Detail is really good stuff, no doubt. And S100 is also really good stuff. But both are expensive compared to Pledge.
Also, in my experience neither is as good as Pledge at melting bug guts or providing a coating that helps repell bug guts. For this and this alone I will keep using Pledge.
And yes, as needed I used S100, Mothers cleaning products, WD40 and microfiber towels for heavy cleaning and waxing. I do that about 3 times a year.

Dust on furniture? What are you talking about? I never have any dust on the furniture and I never do anything. Maybe I should check with my wife and see if she knows anything about this.
