View Poll Results: Is the info in jack clearance and usage helpful?
Great information here. Just bought my 2009 Sportster 1200 Low and wanted to get a jack to help with cleaning the wheels. That hogdevil comedy guy cracks me up. I ran out to the garage and measured the Low Sportster's length from the floor. It's justa peench over 4.3". Tells me I need a low jack both to get under the bike and get the bike back when its stolen.
I read a bunch of postings and found tons of dem boys big dev was talking about.
Thanks dev I haven't decided who I am yet but I know I ain't no D'oh Boy. Ya saved me some cash from making a mistake. Im fixin' to git the J&S since its low jack enough.

Here are a few pictures of the red Sears Craftsman P/N 950190 and the Larin MAL-2C.
Side-by-side comparison shows the difference in height. What's not apparent from the pictures is that the red Sears Craftsman is beefier with larger gauge steel. The Larin still does a good job since all I do is change the oil and do cleaning.
Recapping my original post, my bike is a 2006 Road King Classic FLHRCI lowered with the Harley-Davidson Lowering kits 54631-02B (rear) and 54514-05 (front).
Note the difference on the lowest resting height. It's pretty significant. The Larin is shown in front of the Sears unit.
The Larin fits under the bike nicely with ample room to spare with the bike on the jiffy stand. The Craftsman unit is too high with the bike on the jiffy stand.
bringin this back to see if anyone has updates? anyone used the black widow lift? can't find any reviews on it. a friend has his dad's old crapsman red and loves it, but i think he's the only one in the world who does.
