I sure am going to start. I'm not too worriedd about doing the oil, once I figure what hole is what. But when it comes to adjusting tension and stuff, I am a bit more apprhensive.
But I agree... with the miles I am starting to put on, I should start leaning to DYI.

Ditto, you can pay for the required tools and Service Manual on what you save on the first 5K interval check. It typically costs me < $50 to do a routine 5K interval service with top quality Syn oil.
Damn, great minds think alike. I'll be pulling my rear wheel this afternoon and mounting a 160 E3 tomorrow. It's not supposed to fit a Sporty, but I've checked all the dimensions 6 ways to Sunday and think it will go. I do have the BFH ready just in case. If it doesn't go on, I'm really screwed.
I can't believe I mounted a new Metz 880 the first of April before heading to the Maggie Valley trip and here I am replacing it again, 7 months & 14,000 miles later.
Well, it looks like my measurements were on spot. The Dunlop 160/80-16 Elite 3 slid right in there where only a 150 is supposed to go. Now the test begins. I sure hope this E3 lives up to its reputation, cause I was awful happy with the Metzlers.
