The worst thing (OK the only BAD thing) about it is needing the maintenance everytime I turn around. I am so sick and tired of giving H-D nearly 400 bucks every 5,000 miles (and I've only done it twice). There is no way it is worth that much. I knowa guy that works on Honda's... he used to work on Harleys. He's thinking of doing extra work (non Honda's so as not to interfer with his company) on the side. I may start using him if he does.
Ditto, you can pay for the required tools and Service Manual on what you save on the first 5K interval check. It typically costs me < $50 to do a routine 5K interval service with top quality Syn oil.

Damn, great minds think alike. I'll be pulling my rear wheel this afternoon and mounting a 160 E3 tomorrow. It's not supposed to fit a Sporty, but I've checked all the dimensions 6 ways to Sunday and think it will go. I do have the BFH ready just in case. If it doesn't go on, I'm really screwed.
I can't believe I mounted a new Metz 880 the first of April before heading to the Maggie Valley trip and here I am replacing it again, 7 months & 14,000 miles later.
guys got me beat... only 25,000 miles in 23 months
Dang Jerry as much I would like to ride with you this weekend , especially since you can't make the rally...I just got way too many loose ends to tie up before the rally...ride safe bro....
