Default Nightster Chop & Bobber Build

UPDATE PAGE 4**

UPDATE PAGE 6**

I picked up an 09 Nightser back in October, the previous owner had done some minor mods but they weren't my style, in ANY way. Beyond that, they were done super Mickey Mouse, I'm still fixing things that weren't done right. I think the only mod I kept from previous owner were the Z-bars.

The worst work done to the bike that you'll see speratically pictured throughout & towards the bottom is the front end wiring. He put a steel braided brake line that is about 3" too long. He didn't interally wire anything so the wires are all pinched going in to their controls in the bars, it's really a mess.

Next on the list: New exhaust. Internal wiring & finally cleaning up the front end mess. Just picked up a Drag Specialties 5 3/4" headlight that I'll throw on when we do the wiring. Turn-signal removal..

Will update & continue the thread as soon as I can

How bike sat from previous owner:

Replaced Stock Mirror w/ Licks 3" mini round mirror:

Joker Machine Air Cleaner:

Prepping to chop the rear:

My good buddy Rob helped me with the build:

Chopped Rear w/ stock shocks, Forty Eight rear fender I picked up from a buddy & No School Choppers '33 Tail

Chopped Rear w/ DK Custom 10" struts & Shinko Whitewall 170/17/16

DK Custom 10" Struts

DK Custom Coil & Ignition Relocation w/ Licks 1.5" Tank Lift:

Steel Braided Brake Line & Other Front End Wiring Fail's:

As the bike sits today:

Good job. I just picked up an 09 Nightster myself. Don't plan on going quite as far as you did with the mods but I like your ride.
