Arizona Bike Week is soon upon me so it's time for those mods that I've been holding off on. I have 12" apes coming from Biltwell so I wanted to do another mod I've been wanting to do as I wait for my bars. I bought from Ace 1 1/2" washers, small 'L' brackets, and a handful of bolts and lock nuts. Here's how I did it. I have 1" washers I'm going to try too.

I took the scoot for a spin and it worked very well. More grunt on acceleration and quieted it down a bit. It's still plenty loud but not obnoxious like it was.
