Default Rubber mounts prevent Upswept exhaust?

I am looking into buying an upswept exhaust for my 2006 Sportster, one similar to the pic below. I have contacted a couple of manufacturers, such as Paucho, but they tell me that the rubber mounts for the exhaust make it difficult to mount an upswept exhaust at the rear. I want a more unique bike and I want an upswept exhaust, does anyone know where I can purchase one or how I can make it happen (affordably)?

Thanks,

Jd

Possible... The motor now vibrates independent of the frame, so an up swept exhaust, that needs support would not be able to attach to the frame, because the mounts would break when the motor vibrates and the frame doesn't... I still think that there are manufacturers out there that make them. None come to mind.

You could fabricate a rubber bracket for the frame that would allow the pipes to move independently from the frame, car & truck exhaust is mounted on rubber hanger straps for just that reason.

Replace the rubber mounts with solid mounts, maybe washers from Lowe's if cheap is what you're after.

It is true no one makes an upswept exhaust for rubber mount motors, but that does not mean it is impossible. goinsideways136 made an upswept exhaust for his Nightster which is a rubber mount unless he switched it to solid mounts. Check the pics he posted in this thread...

I'm going to have to call BS on that claim. I don't see why you could not have it mounted to the rear of the frame with a rubber mount liek was said. I do know that my egine moves a ton more then my step dad's 02 does. Well if you want it that bad then make it happen.
