Default sportster frame with no vin?

Hi, I had done some work for a guy so he traded me an old sportster frame i have no idea what year it is he dident either the only numbers on the bike are a casting number 47652-67. my 79 engine fits if i unbolt the rear rocker box. i can get a title for a custom build but would rather try to title as a pre-70 if thats what the frame is. if anybody can help me figure out the year that would be great. thanks

HD started putting VINs on the frames in 1970. Your casting number gives a good hint as usually the -digits tell when the part was first made. If the casting numbers are -67, the frame will be 1967 - 1969. Maybe!
