So I thought I had fixed this problem by removing the run turn brake module but I was wrong. The brake light will randomly flicker at all different times. the rear brake pedal lever is a bit loose due to several light drops by the wife and I am thinking maybe when she hit s a big bump it shakes the whole assembly enough to activate the rear brake light switch. I am not sure how to tighten this up as it is not jsut the lever, but the foot peg bracket as well. All bolts are nice and snug, or at least look that way from a visual inspection.
The brake light switch works fine and running light on the brake light works fine as well. Bike is a 2005 883L.
First things to check? A good way to snug up the whole rear brake pedal assembly? Please let me know. TIA.

I had the same problem with my wifes 07, 1200 Sporty. Did the same thing you did (removed Turn/Run/Brake module, checked everything in the wiring circuit) and could not find the problem. Finally figured it out. I had installed leather fringe tassles on the brake and clutch levers and while driving the wind was pulling the tassles enough to make the brake light flutter! Do you have Leather fringe tassles on the levers?
No fringe. Maybe the front lever is just a bit loose. After working on her bike this morning I spent the afternoon washing mine. She'll have to wait until tomorrow.
Mine does the same thing occasionally turned out the light assembly was loose. CHeck yours, mine would vibrate and loose the ground connection to the fender.
I have the same problem. Check the front break switch, move the break leaver up and down. Does the light flicker when you do this? The break lever and or front switch may be worn.

if you recently removed the front brake lever you could have dammaged the front brake switch when you put it back on. this has happened to a few guys including myself
