Default Got to rebuild the old girls carb tonight!

There is a big bike show this weekend with a $1000 purse so I have to get the Sporty running right.
She wins about 75% of the bike shows I put her in; I have a lot of trophy's but very seldom do you get cash.
The bike is 10 years old and is popping from the exhaust, coughing out the carb, and pucking gas all over the ground after shut down, I've riden her quite a few times this summer and she's been sick all summer, but it's worse now.
I have the carb off and torn down and there is a lot of varnish buildup in the needle and seat area and the rest of the carb is just kinda gross, I also found the plug that blocks where the Voss used to be was cracked badly (vacuam leak).
Tommorow I'll put it back together and the old girl will be happy again.

You don't have to run that corn sh!t in Idaho do you? We just had an Army buddy stay with us for a week from Idaho and he hates that crap. At least here in Indy we have a choice...and I choose NOT to run that stuff in my tank.

It is technicaly covered in Marine grade Vinyl and that's why I win so many bike shows people crap after the figure out what's differant about it. The Harley Rep was out here at a bike show a couple of years ago and when he say it he said Nightster Hell and went and got his camera and took a bunch of pictures.

MAn I was pissed, Told the guy where I store my bike over the winter and get it serviced to rebuild the carb, he totally ignored the accelerator pump, was filthy, diaphram was crunchy, so mucg gunk it wouldn't slide properly. Should be done monday if the new place doesn't blow it up on the dyno tune.
