I'm wondering if there is going to be a mid-year release or if they canned the other bike... I know there was another bike that was supposed to be at the 2010 launch and it was awesome. Look for it at mid-year I guess... The X should follow the same history as the regular XR I hope, and be released as well in the states at mid-year. I'd like to see that bike here. The features that bike offers are awesome... fully adjustable ohlein's suspension.. an addition of power would be nice too...
IMO, it's kinda stupid. Firstly, looking at that pic, I don't see any adjustability on the forks. I'm gonna take this to mean they didn't do anything with 'em. If you upgrade one end of your suspension and not the other, you end up with a bike that isn't balanced and over-taxes the week end. On top of that, every time a manufacturer puts Ohlins suspension on their bike(s), it always ends up where they cut a deal with Ohlins to skimp on the internals to make 'em cheaper to purchase in bulk. I'd rather buy the suspension pieces myself, and have them set up properly for my weight/riding style from the get-go
