the loudest possible pipes you can put on your bike would be short skinny drag pipes. 1 1/2 inch and less than 30 inches long, saw the 40 inch pipes short if you can.

that is the loudest POSSIBLE pipes

bigger diameter, like 2 inch or bigger pipes, create a deeper bassier tone but its not louder

let me guess, your going to be one of those guys who have to have the loudest pipes on their bike. Then you'll wear ear plugs when you ride.

loud pipes save lives and we don't need charts, graphs, or statistics to prove it. look at me i'm cool. look at me. look. bask in the glory of me.

or.

you could just keep the pipes you have and not cram yourself into some stereotypical role that is only impressive to idiots who wear the same goddamned uniform as you.

ok i'm done pouring realism all over this thread.

Yea or you could just be the guy that stays with stock pipes and goes look at me I'm a nice guy, I care about what you think, I get on those naughty loud pipe guys. Bet your a hit at your local biker hang out. Realism, Gotta love it. Here is my picture of you. Guy riding in loafers and slacks with a full face and a reflective jacket in the middle of summer. Oh and deffinetely has a windshield and hard saddlebags because he is a "commuter" And he is responsible. Yea for me. I eat vegetables with a patch that says leave the animals alone.
My brother has D@D slip-ons on his Nighty and they are loud and sound good.

I have Cycle Shack slip-ons. They sound pretty good and were cheap. Some of the best I've ever heard were Rineharts.
