Default Are you using Premium Gas??

I had the same problem when I got my 2005 Sporty with 2000 miles. New to Harley at the time. Turns out I didn't know I was supposed to use premium. Someone pointed that out on this forum. I added an octane booster to the existing fuel in the tank and started using premium. Problem solved completely after two tanks.

I won't mention the three hose/one hose gas pump issue.
