Default how to recover TSM data

I'm getting a diagnostic code..u1255..how do I,or can I recover the lost data myself.....thanks Ty

Did you try looking at the top of the Sportster Forum page for the post that says DIAGNOSTIC CODES ?

Not sure what you mean by lost data. As far as I know, the diag. codes are just stored.

I don't know if this helps, or if it's even totally accurate, but I remember reading somewhere that the TSM holds "x" number of codes and then begins to over write the earlier ones.

Short memory, like me I guess...

That is a communication code.The data is not lost it isn't being transmitted or it isn't being received one or the other.It could be a bad wire or a bad "module".You will need a wiring diagram for your bike to diagnose it and a digital multimeter.
