Air Cleaner
Remap
Mini Apes
Turn Signal Relocation
Forward Controls (or Highway Pegs)
New Seat and or Rear Shocks

Yeh, just buy a standard, throw some Nightster parts on it, and ya get a far better looking machine [8D]

Yup I wish I saved my pennies by buying a standard and doing the work myself. After all is said and done the savings wouldn't have been that great but it sure would have been fun tinkering with a new toy. Then again you can buy a nightster and it's ready to have the living shit beat out of it right from the get go.
heh [8D]

Default Nightster mods

here's some pics to get ideas from.... If you like the old style motorcycles but don't want an old bike....the nightster is good to mess with. I'm always asked "What year is that" and "is that a nightster". It's been fun.

For someone that was like me about 9 months ago and had never owned a harley.. I would suggest what they said.. by something used.. that way when you lay it over.. you wont cry quite as much.. ive been around bikes my whole life.. and have never dropped mine.. knock on wood.. that and you can do what I plan to do.. keep my Custom and get me a Nightster later.. and mod the s#it out of it..

(Danny - Nice bike man.. looks clean.. )

I'd spend about $2000 on the engine and exhaust and leave the rest of the bike along!!!!!!!
