I had a mustang daytripper solo and it was haaaaaard. I sent it back. I'm now looking at the Corbin "Classic Solo" for my sporty.....it looks damn cushy and has way more padding than the mustang.

yes, I have an RSD avenger solo seat on my 48 now, made by mustang. its not horrible, ive done 200 miles straight riding, stopping for gas only and wasnt in any pain. but I do still slide back a lot on takeoff. i'm just looking for a smaller solo seat bar hopper that doesn't hurt. seems inevitable no matter what seat I like i'm going to slide back. i'm going back to see the HD solo today, the bike its on has these low café drag bars on it so it was hard to tell how it feels in a regular sitting position.

crap...as i'm thinking about it, the new corbin Hollywood solo is made specifically for the 48 & 72...with the 2 gal fuel tank. I switched my tank out for an 883 3.3 gal fuel tank. I don't think I can even use this seat, the front lip might be too long for the 3.3 tank. I emailed corbin to see what they say...
the new Harley café solo looks like it will fit all sportster xl's.
