Hello Gentlemen,
I've done some searching, but haven't found the info I'm looking for. I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction. I've got a 2008 Sportster XL1200R aka Roadster.

1. What's the max tire size you can put on a stock bike without any modifications?

2. Who makes a nice whitewall, and what are the names of the whitewall? I know of Avon Gangster, but I don't know Michelin or Shinko are called.

3. Where can I see some decent photos different whitewalls on a Sportster?

I like the Avon Gangsters quite a bit, but I'm sure there are other brands/makes I'm unaware of. Feel free to post photos and/or links to other useful threads in this thread that may help answer my questions. Thank you for your help.

What size did you go with?

 

Great bike. Love the tires.

 

Both are stock size. 150/80/15 rear and 100/90/19 front. But they do look wider, which is a big plus.
