Jake... I don't know the actual story about the steps. It's a really tall staircase, but I didn't count them. The sign on it says, "save our 1,000 steps" or something like that. They are trying to raise money to preserve the steps, as they seem to be crumbling. I have no idea where the stairs lead to.
If you are really bored, I can post the kids soccer and volleyball pics on Joe's pbase... there are THOUSANDS of them... that should keep you busy!!
