Default Lone Star Rally/Galveston, Texas

Any feedback on this rally, is it worth attending? What about lodging, looks like rooms would be limited on the island.

I booked a room at The Inn at the water park, next to Moody Gardens about a month ago. You may check that place out, it's on the west side about four block from the sea wall. Yeah the rally this year should be a killer time, Halloween and all!

Try this site for hotel/motel listings. I ride down there for lunch just about once a week and I see more businesses are opening every trip as we get closer.
I'll be there.

I went in 07 and had a blast. The locals really appreciate the bikers. My hotel had a wash bay with towels and hoses set up for the guests. The cops are cool with most anything except burnouts and wheelies. The Strand at night it not to be missed.

I'm surprised it's in Galveston again. The City of Galveston wasn't overly welcoming after Hurricane Ike and the promoters were seeking another city.

Well hell, I've wanted to go the last 3 years maybe I can make it this year. Let me check the dates and see what I can do.

Nevermind, it's over Halloween weekend. I can't miss Halloween with the kids. Perhaps next year.
