Bump. I find it hard to believe that there are few people from here that are not going. Somebody has to be...
I am going.....I have waited 20 years for this.....I always said i would not go to Daytona until i could ride my own harley.....well I just bought a 2000 Superglide two weeks ago and and have been sleeping next to in in the garage so when i wake up i can reach over and touch it......I am totaly stoked....I have a friend that lives ten minutes from daytona speedway....how far is that from where october fest is held......I havent been this excited about anything since being 7 yeras old looking at the front entrance to disney land

The speed way is about 10 min from downtown and there are events all over at various bars and private locations. The big action is downtown and at the speedway itself. There is so much to do you can't go everywhere on one trip. Maybe we could meet up and say hi one day. We are going down Monday am, and will hang out in St Augustine for the day then check in at the condo in Palm Coast. We have been going down to Bike Week, since 1992, and Biketoberfest since about 2000. We usually enjoy Biketoberfest more cause it's not as crowded, but it only lasts 4 days instead of 10 (Bikeweek). The days before Biktoberfest starts are good cause beer is stil resonable, but after Thursday it goes up. Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach is also good to do during the day. And riding the loop is also a good time. There are just so many places to go, I would have a hard time naming them all.
