If your wife rides a lot I recommend the Mustang Vintage Wide Tour solo and pillion (76752 & 76753).

Its what I run when my wife or daughter ride along. The seats swap out in a minute so when I'm running solo around town I run the stock seat. If I'm running all day or more solo I run the Mustang seat. With the p-pad it adds a bit of back support.

It lifts me up about an inch and helps relieve some of the hip pinch I get on the lower stock seat. The two piece seat together cost me around $450.00

If the Vintage Wide is bigger than you want check out the Daytripper. Also by Mustang.

The 'slim looks great with a single seat.
Social Slim's le pera dual seat also looks very cool.
