Default Deluxe rear fender on a slim

Just wondering what a slim would look like with a deluxe rear fender if possible. Anyone else thought about doing this.

I read the thread linked above. Good start!

But, can we get a little more info on the black bike in the pic above?
I dig that!

According to the thread that is linked, this bike in the pic is has done something the other guy did not know how to solve?

Looks like the seat fits fine in this pic, and the other thread the OP is stuck with a gap.

Can someone clarify ? Can the struts and fenders of the deluxe work with the seat of the Slim?

Man, this is going to make my decision between breakout and slim a lot harder.

So basically it looks like a stripped down Heritage.

Yeah pretty much.
I bough the Slim for it's stripped down bobber look, if I wanted to convert it into a Heritage I woulda just bought the Heritage.
But.. to each his own.

True, that does look like a stripped Heritage. It even has the bag guards?

Is that a slim seat on a Heritage?
And Slim Wheels?

Or is that really a Slim?

Deluxe fender on a Slim is simple, just need inner and outer struts for 08 and up. Yes, the Slim seat needed some creative modification too.

I wanted to black out my Fatboy and install a 96 inch kit and six speed trans, but was easier and cheaper to get the Slim and put the fenders and a few other items on with some powder coating thrown in for good measure.

Bought all my parts as new take-offs or used stuff that I cleaned up.

Have Slim fenders and stuff for sale if anyone interested.

I just completed my deluxe classic conversion using a 7" wide jp cycles rear fender and the factory slim struts. 7 holes had to be filled and 7 added. I also had to cut out the front section for the ecu recess
