It wi;ll have to be the right thing for the right price for me to buy it. Thanks for the replies so far.
I own the red Craftsman jack and love it, got it off a friend for $50.00......... should last for years with some care and maintenance.....

Default Exhaust modification

2014 Harley Fat Bob was way too quite, I had to modify the baffles a little. I pulled the mufflers and noticed a plugs about three inches dead center forcing the gasses through some small holes and outward toward the muffler wrap and back out. Great if I wanted to ride a Vespa. I am old school Harley and it has to sound like a Harley. I used a punch to cut through the plug and forced a large impact socket just big enough to fit the baffle and drove through outward. There was an immediate improvement. Also installed a stage one Screaming eagle air intake filter, then purchased a Vance and Hinds Fuelpak and tuned the bike with the Auto feature and WOW what a difference. The Fuelpak is a great product. Considering CC removal due to so much heat when stopped at a light.

But no matter what jack ya have, here is a tip..When leaving your bike elevated on the jack, make sure you engage the safety bars and release the pressure off the jack...I usually release just enough pressure to relieve the stress from the jack, but then re tighten it so that its a last ditch effort in case something else fails and the jack starts to decend on it's own
Mine stays on the Sears all winter, I have never released the presure off the hydraulic jack, and no problem with it drifting down.

Default J&S jacks vs Pitbull vs Harbor Freight (Pittsburgh)

This video is a head to head comparison, to me the final word in this debate:

Went with a PitBull. Used a Harbor Freight neighbor had before my purchase and am still pleased. It is big but I store it rolled under my work bench and it isn't too much in the way ... Great jacket hanger actually

Just make sure you understand the deception in that video. The HF Jack is not down on its locks when they are wiggling it, it's on the lift cylinder. When it's down on it's locks, it is much more stable than that video shows it.

+1 that J&S company and the phony facts they spew to those who would believe them is the reason why I would never buy a lift or anything from them. This is just me and not my recommendation, do what you like.

Before I purchased a lift I thought of where I would put it. I needed a boom lift for putting a EU 3000 Honda generator into my truck bed so here was my opportunity. One finger/thumb to ****** it out of my mini-van, truck bed or off of the floor. I just thought about it a head of time. Cheap to do, painting it white took the longest amount of time.

Love my big blue lift. Picks up my RK or Deluxe way high with ease. Gives nice 360 access. Simple design no hydraulics or pumping needed.
