Default Memphis Shades on new Fat Boy Lo

just purchased a '13 Fat Boy Lo. Have always bought Memphis Shades windscreens for my various bikes including my Sporty. I am also short waisted so I can not use a tall screen. Memphis has a 13" and 15" inch shade. Any one use these on this bike? Any fit issues? Looks like I'd save some $$ too.

I'm ok with the chrome bars on it.

Thanks.

I have the 19" Memphis Shades Fats on my 2010 Lo. Just make sure that you get the proper mounting kit. Initially I got the kit for the Lo with passing lamps. I don't have passing lamps and they are very different kits. I started with the 17" and it was too short for my liking. (I have the 17" shade, 7" cutout, black bottom, if you are interested, no hardware and less than 100 miles on it)

Here is a pic of the 19" on my bike:

No Problem, glad the photo helped. I started with the 17" and it was just to low for me, gave me bad buffeting. The 19" I ended up mounting about half way down on the bracket and it is just perfect. Looking just over the top of the shield. Rode in the rain with it a couple weekends ago and it made it almost enjoyable

I'm 5'4" so I understand where you are coming from. Good luck. Been very very happy with the shield and with the customer service at Memphis Shades!

I ran MS windshields and batwing fairing on my Fatboy, I like the MS trigger lock detach hardware better than the HD stuff, the gromets on the forks are made of a hard plastic instead of rubber like the HD ones so they dont wear and rip and the mount slides on easier. They can all be found cheaper than the HD stuff from E Bay , Eastern performance, Phat Performance

Pics are all MS detachable s , less than a minute to change to any of them , no tools needed

You have an inch on me but my inseam is 30 you must have a longer torso, i always need short shields. I like the tint as well but have traditionally gone with clear.

Always better to get one taller than you need and trim it down. Takes about an hour to get a perfect height.

I had a standard Harley windshield for years and went with this:

It's a huge difference in the wind buffeting and airflow. Makes the long days so much more comfortable
