I bought my hubby an 80 spoke for his Heritage and I took his old front spoke wheel. Some people say they don't notice a difference in the handling but I sure do. Might have kept the disks if the '03s looked like the newer ones.

I made the switch on my 2005 and am very happy I did. I was leery about loosing one of the most iconic features of the Fat Boy, IE the infamous disc wheels, but the second I saw the spokes and WWW's there was no turning back.
Lots of people choose to go to larger diameter wheels that better show off the spokes, but I (like you) like the traditional 16's. As far as ride, I did not notice much of a difference
Thanks bikerlaw. I've been kicking the tires on this for awhile. Your bike is one of a couple I've seen that really made me want to go that route. Very nice ride.

Pre-2007 had the option of disc or spoke, I have Stinger mag wheels.... that's the great thing about a Fatboy... VERSATILITY!!!! Go for what you love and make it your own.
Here's a picture right after I installed the front spoke wheel on my '95. I just got the back one put on it today, but my camera batteries are dead. I'll see about getting a few pictures of it tomorrow.

Has anyone changed the front wheel to spokes but left the rear a solid disc? Harley used to have a model that came stock with something like that but I can't remember which one.
