I used the kit from softailloweringkit.com

Takes minutes....and comes with BOTH 1" & 2" options....

Went in easy....no experience needed.....couple wrenches
this is what i used. only took 1 hr to put in. and that was taking my time. i think they say just 30 minutes to do it. and what a difference. here is how mine look with the kit from softailloweringkit.com. i used the 2" lowering collar and i lowered it in the front 2" with a progressive lowering kit.

Lowering the bike should not change the relationship of the fender side to side.

With some more details someone might be able to figure out whats going on.
