Default Nacelle Front head light for Fat boy Lo

Hey Fellas,

So here i sit waiting for the UPS guy to deliver my Shotgun Shock(Can you tell im excited about it.) So the next mod i am thinking about is pitting the Nacelle/Freight train Head Light on my bike. I know what harley makes one that comes in crome, and Bad Dad makes a stretched paint-able one (not to crazy about the legth of the stretched one). Anyone know if anyone makes one in black, would hate to pay the 300+ that the Dealer wants for the chrome one, when im just going to P/C it. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Thanks
Jason

I've looked at nacelles forever. Except for the stretched version, or the black one that fits the touring bike front end, you're out of luck.

The touring one won't fit because it's 1/4" wider and the mounting holes are for a FLH front end.

And the rattle can paint won't stick for long sprayed over chrome. You could scotchbrite it and maybe get some more life out of it, but dechroming is the right way.

Keep watching ebay. I was looking a couple months ago and there were 3 or so that had been painted, pitted chrome and what not. Most were in the $50.00 range as I recall.

I wanted Chrome so I had the dealer order everything when i had mine done.
