I am looking to lower my deluxe about 2 inches,, what do you suggest for a girl that weighs bout 115? I have a hard time backing it up and flat footing. I already had the seat worked on and that didnt make any difference hardly. I was thinking of doing it the cheap way with a kit but someone told me I would regret it,,..Will I? I see alot of you here have done that. Will it be less comfortable? harder to handle? I would love airshocks but not this year..

Default 06 Deluxe

Well here it is, I lowered it a total of 1.5" up front and 2" in back, I also added the 21" wheel. Next up are some Samson fish tails, Heritage Springer bags, some new handle bars, and more chrome.

Just got done lowering mine front and rear, I heard that if you lower the rear you have to lower the front and vice versa. The ride is stiffer in a better way IMO. I had many concerns before I did mine and did a lot of research on here and asked a few guys for advice. I am so glad I did it, no regrets; I kind of wish I could lower it more but the streets around here are very shitty.
