I was toying with the idea of putting a kicker on my XBones, but of course I would have to convert to a carburetor. I remember riding bikes with carbs, and I remember what a pain in the ass they can be in cold weather. Why do some people prefer carburetors? I mean, other than the purist thing, is there any advantage or is it all disadvantage?

To me the carb bikes sound way better and are easy to work on I would never want EFI

I'd like to know how to do the swap too. It's kept me from buying and efi bike. If you have ever seen an efi wiring harness you'd know why. You can run a carb bike with 4 wires. efi = 100 wires. + sensors,ecms, soon throttle by wire all great ways to get stranded
