have any of you put HD auxiliary lights on yer softail?
and they just plugged in somewhere, right?
I'm guessing there is a plug on the harness somewhere.

there are plug connections on both sides of the tank that have to be completed. Pretty simple as per the instructions. I added the deluxe auxiliary lights to my 08 fat boy about a month ago. No problems.

As stated, pretty simple plug in locations. I took my tank off to make it easier. And you will have to drill a hole to mount the toggle switch.

More work but... to have the passing lamps on for both high and low beams I installed a relay. Then from the relay to a switch to the passing lamps. The relay can be a power source for other things also.

I got power from the yellow wire in my headlight bucket if I remember correctly. Just spliced into it and voila.
