Default Best air ride system

About 2 months ago I purchased a set of Progressive 722's. I had problems right off the bat...the shocks would not hold air. I sent them back and got a set of 422's because I got cold feet over the possibility of them failing. I'm sure Progressive make's good products and this was a rare occurance however, I feel much better with non-airshocks due to the fact that they will not obviously can't lose air. There are definatley good reasons to have the adjustable air shocks but, for my purpose the 422's fill the bill. Plus, I have no desire to lower the bike which is one reason ( but, of course not the only reason) to purchase air-ride suspension. The 422's also have increased spring rate to deal with heaver loads. YMMV

I got one last week off of e-bay. I sent the seller a message before bidding to find out how many he had. It was only a few. I got mine for just over $900.

For anyone interested in the Hi Lo Rider; I found a place who's selling them for $515 delivered. I may just pull the trigger at this price.

I wasnt expecting to get my air ride at the time, and was saving the coin for my wheels but after running into the deal on ebay, I put the wheels on hold and jumped on the shotgun shocks !! The wheels are gonna be the same price vs the shocks were $600 less than retail.. It was a no brainer

I've put 12,000 miles on my hi lo air ride with no problems. $515 is a steal if you do not wanna drop a grand or more. I have had mine for about less than a year now.
