I have the Hi Lo and have no problems at all and it is a very comfortable ride. If the Shotgun Shocks were $1000 bucks last year when I did this air ride I would have went with Shotgun or Platinum. Obviously this video is old because that is my old rear fender.

Saintslax11,

Shotgun has great reviews but the hi lo drops fast. Did you alter anything on the hi lo system to get it to lower quickly?

I did not alter anything at all. I personally like the way it drops and I put my bike on a lift every time I clean it to check all my wires and bolts. I just check everything to make sure I am safe. Nothing has been bothered by it dropping that fast. When I used to have the old shocks I would hit pot holes and it seemed like I was killing my bike by the sound it would make.
With that said I would not change my mind about the system. I like it and it gets the job done.

I did lots of research on this and after finding the Shotgun Shocks on Ebay for $1000.00. It is simply a deal that you cant pass on. The SAS is also a really good system but IMHO the shotgun is amazing.
As for the tranny fluid change. That is really not a big deal. You could remove two bolts and drop the shocks to access the drain bolt. Besides its only done a few times a year if that.
Ive spoken personally to JD(owner and designer) at Shotgun Shocks and the guy has awesome customer service. He really goes the extra mile to explain the whole process and guide you through the install with any questions you may have.

You got a good deal Eagle... I would have taken that. My system was $800 shipped. Not to bad, plus the Lifetime Warranty.

Yea, considering it retails for $1600. I almost feel like i got robbed !! I went on the sellers history and he actually sold the last 2 kits for $500+ . I went with the buy it now because I didnt know how many kits he had left. And didnt want to go through the whole bidding process. Apperantly he has a bunch..

Do you have the sellers link? I have another eBay link, but there are no items for sale.

The HiLo drops fast because you air up to raise the bike, and bleeding it off lowers it quick. The Shotgun uses air to lower the bike, and bleeding it off raises the bike.

Given a situation in which the system fails to hold air, you end up riding rigid with HiLo, and raised with shotgun? is that correct Supremo?

Mimo.
