Well now you'll have to sell the bike and get a new 1. No really just get a caliper rebuild kit and you'll be ok.

I just looked at the front brake caliper, it has two mounting bolts for the fork, 2 pins for the brake pads and another two bolts for the 2 caliper halves, I hope you didn't split the caliper otherwise trouble.

well thanks for the help guys. but there are a total of four bolts TOTAL on this caliper.all four bolts take 12 point. two bolts mount caliper to fork tube one bolt goes directly through the pads and other is at bottom that split the caliper when i pulled it. NO PINS

yup 2009 model is different. 1 bolt through the middle and then tap them out from the top!

No worries...I split mine too...Im a novice and after slapping them back together again and bleeding them, Im still alive after 1500 miles on them. I know next time just to unbolt the 2 star sockets to remove the caliper.

You don't even have to remove the caliper... I used 2 putty knifes...on stiff, one flexible... the 12pt bolts though...must make sure you pull those all the way out! ....well for an 07 anyway...
