I have front and rear 18x3.5 rims. I was told by the place I bought them that they normally run 140/70-18 on front and 150/70-18 on the rear on these 3.5" rims. I checked Avon's fitment chart and it say that the reccomended tire for a 3.5" rim is the 130, however alternate rim sizes for the 140 is 3-4.5".
Same for the rear, reccomended rim width is 4.25 but the alternate rim width is 3-4.5.
Is it safe to go with the alternate rim sizes?
