turn signals flashing left and right, bike won't start

G'day all, My battery was flat (hadn't ridden bike (07 fatboy) all winter) and so I bought a battery charger / maintainer and put it on a couple of days ago. I went back today and it seems that it HAS actually charged the battery ok but the bike will NOT start now. All it does is flash the turn signals left / right / left / right / left / right and then there is a break and then it does it again... it even does it for a while after I turn the ignition off but when I push in the starter button nothing happens. No Alarm sounds so I don't think it is the alarm.... would this be that it has forgotten the FOB id and I need to re-program it or is something f*cked? Any help greatly appreciated. DeanO

Sounds like your alarm isn't recognizing the fob. Try replacing the battery in your fob. (or if you have a 2nd one put it near the bike.

I agree with br7132....must be your security system.....
if you can't get the fab to work...look at your owners manual...it will tell you how to reset the alarm

+1 on the Fob battery.

a lot of times if you just wiggle the fob battery it will work (oxidation on battery/contacts)
Do you have the code to enter via directional switches ?

if you have the HD Factory security system, or the HD Smart Security system?

it shouldn't "forget" the fob
on my 04 RoadKing I had the battery disconnected for a few months while i rerouted the wiring harness , and it work fine after it was reconnected(HD Factory security System).

If its the Smart Security system, did you move the antenna when you worked on the battery ?

The reason is security is enabled

Its the FOB my 2007 fob batteries are going bad too
