Thanks guys.... if I can find my second fob I will try that... I think the battery is the same as that on a computer motherboard and I have hundreds of those laying about so I will try that!

We were about 500 miles on a ride when my bro's xbones started doing exactly what yours did right on the fricking freeway! Sucked, out of desperation I told him to disconnect and reconnect the battery.....BAM! it fired right up and hadn't had the problem since. He put a load balancer on for his blinkers and the bike I guess freaked out.... i would try the disconnect/reconnect battery cables first..than follow the above suggestions.

My moneys on the FOB battery! Same thing happened to my friends 07 RK just this past weekend... Look at the speedo display you see a little key shaped light on the right side then it's prob not picking up the FOB.
