Here is a pick of a "BaggerTrain" from another forum... it started as a night train and got lots of changes to suit the owner. Including dual disks up front, batwing, and hard bags.

Once the bags are mounted you'll have someplace to put the A/C compressor.

If I've ever seen a bigger abomination and POS than THAT, I can't remember where it was.

Yeah. I'm thinking someone with more money than bike sense. Actually the paint job was wicked. I just don't know why someone would go to all the trouble to make a Night Train into a bagger. Maybe he isn't done with it yet because the front end needs some changes 'cause as it is right now it's out of balance with the rest of the bike.

Maybe a Heritage or Deluxe front end would bring it more in balance.

I dunno. JMHO.

That doesn't look bad at all DB. In fact it looks good. Nice to be able to dual purpose the NT like that. I'm even warming up to the idea of some quick detachable bags for my NT. I saw some on a guys Train the other day it looked just fine.

I'll say it again, anything that lets you ride more is a good thing. If I didn't have the bags, the windshield, the heated gear, or the raingear, I wouldn't ride half as much as I do.

"It's too cold" isn't in my vocabulary. Neither is "it's too far". We're planning a 3,000 mile trip around Christmas, and I'll be riding behind (or beside) the wife's minivan the whole way.

But I guess I'm a pussy because I have bags and a shield....

I bought my Night Train used with soft bags. Didn't like em, but still needed to carry my gear, so I went with a sissy bar bag. I like that look a lot better. That's my opinion, yours may differ.
