I think it's terrible how we get treated on service for motorcycles. And the we are satisfied leaving the inaccurate gauge alone.
We wouldn't do this with our cars. Why do we allow the companies to treat us this way on our bikes? I don't get it.
Harley says that the problem has been fixed on the 2010 models, so i'm demanding that my 2010 Heritage gets fixed. Three tries and then it falls under lemon law.

hat has been said to do by the dealer if your gauge is not accurate is to have the float rod bent a bit so that the float sits properly in the tank to gauge the level of gas in there. I had a different tank to put on and had the dealer move the fuel pump and stuff from one tank to the next. It was suddenly far more accurate than it had been before. I still do not trust it all that much and go by the mileage as well.
Yes, for that amount of money it should work. Really, if they know that the gauges are inaccurate they should leave them off the bike...

Where did you see it had been fixed? This has been a problem for years that I doubt they would say it's fixed.
