Default SE 255 cams and Fuelpak?

I have an 07 SG with an SE Stage 1 air cleaner, Supertrapp slip-ons, and a V & H Fuelpak. I'm very pleased with the synergy effect of these mods and have no issues/problems at all with this set up.

I read somewhere here that the Fuelpak is ok if you do not modify the engine too much. I can't find that post now. Anyway, I would like to install the SE 255 cams next year if the Fuelpak can handle it. Maybe I would just have to call them and get the info to reprogram it.

Is there anyone here running a V & H Fuelpak with SE 255 cams?

The downside is they are not can't be tuned. If they don't have a map for your setup, you are SOL. They can't be tuned by Dyno. In the long run you are better off with a Powercommander.

I have heard lots of negatives about the FP, but mine has been flawless and bike runs way better than it did before Pipes, AC, and Pak. No popping here.

I have a 2007 FXSTC with the fuelpak. Going to a new kit this week which includes the SuperTuner so I will not need the V&H FuelPak. $175 if you are interested.

Have a DFO, same as a fuel pak. Runnin it with cams and it does make the bike run better and still getting great mileage. No doubt a dyno tune w/ a PC or a Thundermax would be better. Just costs a lot more. Got the DFO for 60% off on eBay.

You're dang close to my bike's current configuration and my next one. I've got an 07 RK police. I'm running the SE air cleaner, Supertrapp SE's and a fuelpak. The only difference is that I've got the 103 vs the 96.

I'm going to be putting in se255's this winter, and am hopefully going to stay with my fuelpak. I've looked up to see if V&H has a map for my configuration, and they do. I also emailed them for advice, and they came back with the same map. (currently running 2682, the map for the 103 with 255's is 1149)

I think the fuelpak is great IF V&H has the map for your application. Unfortunately, with so many configurations available, it's not possible to keep up with them all. And close doesn't usually work too well with these bikes.

Good luck, I'll report back later this winter after I've done the cam swap.
