Default Crossbones Recall

Just curious if anyone else recently got the letter in the mail about the front break acorn recall? Wondering what everyone thinks about it, etc...

Just got my bike 3 weeks ago and it's kind of good timing as it need it's 1000 mile tune up already too.

Yes, I got one in the mail today. I just had my 1k tune up a week ago. I called the dealer and they don't have the kits in until the 10th.

From what I can tell the ACORN pieces are the nuts that hold the assembly together. I guess they are alluding to the fact that if the nuts fail the whole dam break assembly falls off..... Resulting in the all too famous.... serious injury or death....disclaimer...

They guy I talked to at Harley said it's some bolt you can visually see to see if it's loose....Coming from a guy who struggles changing a light bulb, I have no clue!
