View Poll Results: Should I get a Danny Gray seat for my Rocker?
I have been working on my Rocker since last August when I first purchased it. I value the opinion of others on the forum, I have gotten a few ideas for mods on my Rocker and I have gave some a few ideas.
Currently I am thinking about getting a black leather Danny Gray seat with the comfort gel. I am not a 100% sure yet I might keep my current FXCW seat set-up and go with an Arnott air-ride to lower the bike and close up the gap.
Those of you with the Danny Gray can you post pics from different angles, if I do get the Danny Gray seat I will modify my frame caps to still use them with the new seat.
If I get the air-ride I can still raise the bike to show off the airbrush work on the fender.
If I get the Danny Gray it will hide some of the airbrushing.
Here are some recent pics.

My vote is 110 % for the danny gray seat. Just keep your stock seat just in case you want to give some rides here and there (it'll take you literally 12 minutes to swap seats).
I've had the danny gray for about 2 months now and i can't possibly come up with a negative comment about it. i could see why you are a little concerned about the danny gray covering your paint on the fender though. I think that's a small trade off, plus looking at your pics, i don't think it's going to cover too much of the paint if you put the DG on your bike.
The DG is ALOT cheaper then the air ride, plus your ride comfort won't suffer with the DG, with the air ride you'll be riding that thing so low that it'll feel like a rigid.
here are the best pics i have of the bike right now with the DG.
You free this weekend? i'm off, if you want make your way over here and we can go for a ride upstate (found a new trail off of the NY state throughway) and you can look/sit on my bike with the DG so you can make a better decision.
i forgot to mention, the comfort factor. with the DG you won't have to keep re-adjusting yourself because you are sliding off the back of the seat

You should have provided a third option: Get the Danny Gray and the Arnott air-ride giving you the best of both worlds. Here are pictures of my Danny Gray Seat:
Seems the only downside of the DG seat is covering up a portion of your airbrushing. You have modified your entire bike just about. I wouldn't stop short at the seat.
DragonSlayer's seat was the inspiration for me ordering my DG seat. I should have it in about a week. I'll post pics when I get it.

I sat on a Rocker with DG Seat today and I liked it. The seat sits deeper than standard Rocker seat and further back from controls. I'm 5'9" and felt nice and stretched out but not over-reaching.
However, don't be ashamed of that gap, put a spring seat on it and flaunt that fender!

I don't own a Rocker but I don't see the downside to buying the DG seat. It looks great and may save you from buying an air ride. I would start with the seat and if your not satisfied you can always add the air ride later. BTW, how much does the seat cost?
You guys with these Rockers are killin me...the more I look, the more I want.
