Bumping this old thread... Bncer18 or anyone else know how difficult it is to install the Roland Sands kit? I'm assuming the Heartland kit is the easier to bolt on but it's out of my price range for now.

Be wary of the RSD kit. What they don't tell you in the ads or the catalog is that you cannot just buy the fender. You have to buy the springer seat, pan and gas tank. It's meant to all fit together. Trust me, I've spent my summer doing research on this. The only real bolt-on choice is the Heartland- which is why I just ordered the EZ200 from Dr. VTwin.

That figures. I could have sworn I'd seen the RS rear fender by itself, but I guess not. I can't believe it's so hard to find a decent fender for a night train!

I found a decent fender for a night train.. its called The RSD tracker.
Mainly just depends on the look you are going for.

bncer18 has what looks to be maybe a Danny Gray seat with his RSD fender.

That may be, but that's not the look I am going for.

I spoke literally directly with RSD while at my wrencher... the Tracker and Vintage fenders are meant to go with their seat and tank.
