I went with the Performance Machine 240 Kit but replaced the fender using RSD to give it a more round short look to it.

Looks good. Were you able to reuse the stock seat and will that fender support 2-up?

Default Rear fender kits

Hey Guys
I was wondering if any of you know of fender kits that are simlar to the heartland fenders but not as pricey. I plan on getting a Night Train when i get back from my deployment and I have been searching the web and just cant seem to find anything so any direction you can send me in would be greatly appreciated

homerandpooh, i never tried to put the badlander seat on but i have seen pictures of other bikes with the stock seat and fender combo. as far as 2 up................it could be done. the fender is not really strutless. the struts are on the inside however i did have to cut off the frame horns. so i would say for 2 up there are probably better options for you.

Thanks. I will have to weigh the options based on cost. They have your fender listed at around $600. I can get a RWD fender that allows me to use my struts for half that or a knock-off from Ebay for less than that but I will compromise the smooth look that you have. If I can get a used Fatboy fender from a swap-meet I can modify that and maybe even go cheaper.

As much as I would like to make the bike a solo rider I know that is not a possibility. The strutless fenders may not be the best choice for 2-up. I need the ability to add a passenger occasionaly, especially since said passenger will be my wife, lol.
